“When counseling, I really try to be as down to earth as possible. I do not expect that someone is going to change overnight nor should they. I want my clients to understand that we ARE going to hit challenges along the way… This is all part of the process. I also want them to understand that while we work together, they WILL develop the tools necessary to get through those challenges. People are busy and live busy lifestyles. As a Dietitian, it is my job to simplify eating right. Food is fun and enjoyable. Let’s keep it this way.”

Gia is a Registered Dietitian through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is licensed in Pennsylvania. Gia was born and raised in Philadelphia and did her undergrad and dietetic internship at La Salle University. She accredits her passion for food and nutrition to her mom who always made it a priority to provide her family with wholesome, home cooked meals. “One of my favorite memories as a child is my whole family eating dinner together every night. Food is exciting and nourishing and should always be thought of in a positive way. I try to steer away from words like ‘diet’ and ‘bad’ when educating others. I like to help people realize that with a healthy balance and small, realistic changes, anyone can accomplish their goals.”
Gia has experience working in a variety of different settings including education, clinical, and public health nutrition. She was most recently a Registered Dietitian/Project Coordinator at Drexel University where she conducted interactive nutrition lessons for students in the Philadelphia area.
