I am passionate about life, music and exercise! I enjoy sharing Zumba with #SWEATMEs of all ages and fitness levels. It’s a format that anyone can follow, and it’s just plain fun! Walk into my Zumba class and you will be transported to faraway places via exotic, infectious musical rhythms. You won’t be able to stop yourself from smiling as you dance with your friends. Join the party! I discovered Zumba in 2006, when this format was in its infancy. My instructor kept pulling me up onto the stage with her during class and insisted that I complete the instructor training. I did so in 2007, and I have taught classes every week since then. I will be doing Zumba until I die!  It reminds me and my students that in order to completely enjoy life, you must be healthy in mind, body, and spirit!

Name and recipe of your favorite healthy meal / snack / drink:

  • Morning protein smoothie: 8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop whey protein, 1 TBS peanut butter, several chunks of frozen banana. Mix all in blender, pour and enjoy!
