I am a yoga teacher with a style deriving from the ashtanga lineage. In addition to teaching yoga I also compose electronic music and enjoy quiet evenings of good food and movies. My classes contain all of the core elements of a daily yoga practice: physical exertion, breath control, and meditation. Expect a balanced class of challenging and relaxing postures, with a heavy emphasis on inward focus. After years of distance running my knees began to have chronic pain. I looked to yoga as an alternate means to keep my body fit that didn’t aggravate my knee joints the way running did. To me, my yoga practice serves as a method to clear me of my physical and mental impurities. It brings me closer to a state of grace and humility that enables me to serve others at my highest potential. My only desire for my students is that they too find a means to realize their highest potential.
